This new publication from the Folio Society is illustrated with 30 linocuts by Linda Farquharson. The 65 funny, moving and mysterious stories and poems were collected and edited by W.B. Yeats. The illustrations bring to life familiar characters from Irish mythology: the mercurial trooping fairies; the solitary and industrious Lepracaun and, of course, the fearsome Banshee, whose eerie wailing warns of death.
Prints of the linocut illustrations are available for sale in a limited edition of 20.
